Sourced historical context

Germans opened Terezin on 24 November 1941 and called it a model ghetto. It was a camp, freed on 8 May 1945. In June 1944, before an International Red Cross visit, the ghetto was beautified and many Jews were shipped to Auschwitz to hide overcrowding.
